*Students: Interested in being on the yearbook committee? Come to a meeting at 8:15 on Tuesday, September 23rd in Mrs. Hunt’s room (307).  Also if you haven’t picked up your yearbook from last year, please do so as soon as possible.
*ESS Extra Help: If any student is in need of a little extra help with study skills, test-taking skills, or organization, come before or after school Wednesday – Friday next week.  Meet in the morning in the Math Lab at 8:00 a.m. or in the Math Lab after school until 5 pm.
*Girls Basketball Tryouts: When: Tues. Sept. 30th and Wed. Oct 1st. Dress: Gym clothes. Time: 4 - 6 PM. both days. Tryouts are closed to spectators. Girls must have a copy of a current sports physical to try out.
*Spirit Days:  Whenever there is a HOME athletic event, we have a Spirit Day at school.  A Spirit Day means that students may wear SMS-issued T-shirts, sweatshirts, or hoodies.  The athletes playing in the HOME game that night are allowed to wear their team’s jersey (if sleeveless, a t-shirt must be worn underneath).  All other dress code rules apply.
Scratch Programming club for students is holding its' first meeting Friday Sept. 26th after school from 4 to 5 pm. Interested students please pick up a flyer in the computer lab. Questions? please email annie.lesperance@fayette.kyschools.us.
