What is it?: The Showcase is our biggest fundraiser of the year.  It is a great event, with performances, silent auction, food and more!

Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to help thus far!  We are well on our way to having a fantastic Showcase!  However, we can still use volunteers.  Please contact Julie Bradley at southernmiddleschoolptsa@gmail.com

How can you help with Showcase?

Donate :  If you own a small business or know someone that does, consider donating.  We take anything:  gift cards, services, merchandise, food; if you can donate it, we will find a way to use it!  All donations are tax-deductible!  Remember, SMS serves more than 600 students and their families, so this is a great way to advertise your business! Volunteer: We need hands!  We have a lot of volunteers out there asking for donations, but we still need more!  Other opportunities to volunteer will be announced when we get closer to the Showcase!
*Yearbooks!  Pre-order your 2015 SMS yearbook for $30.  Students are in the front hall before school taking orders.
* Spirit Days:  Whenever there is a HOME athletic event, we have a Spirit Day at school.   Students may wear SMS-issued T-shirts, sweatshirts, or hoodies.  The athletes playing in the HOME game that night are allowed to wear their team’s jersey (if sleeveless, a t-shirt must be worn underneath).  All other dress code rules apply.
* Scratch Programming club for students meets in the computer lab on Thurdays before school. See Mrs. L'Esperance for a morning pass. annie.lesperance@fayette.kyschools.us.
